Meet Susan Goodman

Susan Goodman started her own firm in 2019 after practicing in a medium-sized Tucson firm for six years.

Her process-based, integrated approach to compliance through assessment and intervention involves patient care, operations, and shared services. She also supports the US Bankruptcy Trustee as a privacy/patient care ombudsman in Chapter 9 and 11 health care reorganizations.Her education and experience allow her to quickly assess, simplify, and address her health care clients’ legal and business needs in an increasingly complex and regulated health care environment.

Ms. Goodman received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law, graduating with distinction, including Summa Cum Laude and Order of the Coif.  She served as an Executive Note Editor on the Arizona Law Review. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, graduating with academic distinction. Ms. Goodman also received a RN diploma from Bronson Methodist Hospital School of Nursing, affiliated with Western Michigan University, graduating with First Honor and Nursing Excellence recognition.

Ms. Goodman remains licensed as a registered nurse in Arizona. She joined the Arizona Bar in 1999 and the Texas Bar in 2019. Her practice admissions include the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona in 2013, the Northern District of Texas in 2020,  the Western District of Texas in 2021, and the Southern District of Texas in 2023. Ms. Goodman is an active member of the American Health Law Association.
